CALA MOSCA.  Another manipulation.


Like a fly ovr a cake, the politicians are about in Cala Mosca.
They see it as a way to buil more houses for some rich foreigners who are coming to stay a couple of months a year, and with their money irrigate the joints of the political parties.

Do we need more houses ? There are more than 1500 houses for sale in Orihuela Costa. Do we need any more, really?

And nowm the green party and the socialist one, so concerned about us, present a plan to urbanize CALA MOSCA, in the middle of july and if you want to read it, go to the Town Hall, but not here, but in the city. And hope the civil servant is there as if not, you will have to go another time.

But the politicians are there because of us. We vote and they decide. It is our fault and if we want to have a good price for our properties when the time comes, it is better to register and vote.

I urge CLARO to become independant and advocate for a Orihuela Costa independant.

We do not need PP, PSOE, LV, CLr, ...parties interested in their own city and not in Orihuela Costa. We do not have a libray and they have 2. We do not have a theatre, a cinema, a municipal  musical school or languages. We have nothing but tax. Let us say goodbye to Orihuela city and good morning to an independant Orihuela Costa as Pilar de la Horadada did some years ago. Let us register and vote for CLARO, the only party where all his members live here.

Hace tiempo que el tema de Cala Mosca está como una mosca en un pastel en una tarde de verano, revoloteando sobre el mismo y sin dejarse cazar.
Resulta que ahora el ayuntamiento de Orihuela en pleno Julio ha esbozado un plan para la urbanización de Cala Mosca, cuando el personal está de vacaciones y con un par de semanas por delante para ir a verlo.  Como es natural, los más afectados son los residentes de Orihuela ciudad, por ello el plan sólo se puede visitar en la ciudad, porque si vas a la costa, no lo tienen.  Y como es natural, te dicen que en horario hasta las 1030 am y si la persona que te lo va a mostrar se encuentra allí en ese momento.
Da frustración, pena y rabia que un gobierno presuntamente ecologista, honesto y volcado en sus ciudadanos se acuerde de la costa para recaudar impuestos ( damos el 50% del total que se recauda), para construir casas que los ciudadanos no necesitamos y para elaborar un plan que será expuesto a 30 km dios mediante.

Todo esto huele a manipulación y no diré fraude porque se depriva del derecho real a ver un plan de urbanización al ciudadano, dado que se publica a 30 kms de los reales interesados y en julio.

Verguenza esta ciudad que merece que Orihuela Costa camine por sus pies.

Today I am going to talk about the LIBRARY or better still, th lack of library in Orihuela Costa.

It seems that we have no right whatsoever to have a Library and our children and ourselves do not have the right to read and get books from a library nearby. The closer is in Torrevieja or in Pilar de la Horadada, but it will be unfair to use their facilities when they pay for it and we do not.   Mr Mancebo keeps explainning that a new library ( as it we had an old one) is in te cards, but when land is sold in our area by the Town Hall, the money goes to Orihuela city, not to us.  In th future they will have 2 libraries and I wonder why not one and we could have the other?

but I am afraid that this piece of news is many months old and still nothing is done.  Furthermore, have you seen anything done by this new government?

I could not find anything by PSOE as they do not even talk about Orihuela Costa, except in orer to sell our land and the money to be sent for projects in the city of Orihuela.

But maybe we deserve it as we do not put a proper fight and people do not fight for their rights to have some facilities when we pay more than residents of Orihuela. 

An idea and very simple would be to use the civic centre and build an extension. For no more than 200,000 the place could be sorted and in a few months we could have a very good library.
